Why would I consider a monthly membership?

So many reasons! A monthly membership provides you with the resources and the support you need to lose weight and keep it off for the long term; 90% of people gain their weight back (and more) because they don't know how to maintain their weight and they don't keep their good habits going consistently.


You also need to have a well-designed strength training program that is safe and effective for women over 50. Looking for routines on the internet is time consuming and often for a younger audience.

Can I stop my membership at any time?

Yes! You can cancel at any time. Simply email karen@wellbalanced.ca and we will pause or cancel your membership.


Please note that when you cancel your membership, you will lose access to any resources in the program.

What do I get in the monthly membership?

You get immediate access to a private, VIP community, filled with like-minded women in a supportive environment.


Access to a private Fitness App with a strength training program and videos for each exercise. This program is updated regularly.


Participate in group coaching calls where we celebrate your wins, discuss your struggles and introduce new topics.


You'll receive a monthly meal plan, shopping list and recipes to make it easier to make healthy meals.


You can participate in challenges within the group to keep you motivated, inspired and learning about ways to improve your health.

Is there a discount for a longer term commitment?

Absolutely! If you commit to an annual membership upfront, the cost is reduced by 10%.

What if I'm new to working out?

Good for you - I'm glad that you are here and ready to make some changes! Your workout program will be designed to meet you where you are at and if you feel you need modifications, you can always reach out and we'll get back to you with options.

How will I receive my program?

Your program will be provided to you in an app. Every exercise has a video to show you how to do it and you can use the app to track your progress!

How can I make sure my form is correct?

Form is so important when you are strength training! Any time you are not sure about your form, send a video to Karen and she'll provide you with feedback.

How long are the workouts?

Generally, the workouts will be about 30 - 45 minutes long, depending on your familiarity with the exercises and your fitness level.


I highly recommend you also schedule time for a warm up and cooldown.
